5 Ways To Prepare To Talk To Your Crush

Lifestyle

Having a crush may be the most exciting thing in the world when it first starts.

After a while, you would want to talk to him/her and get to know them.

Talking to your crush is a task nobody is ready for. You may be too shy to say hi or you may be trying to avoid rejection.

Do you get tongue tied and start stuttering in their presence?

Don't worry the dating experts at Scooper have got you covered.

Here are 5 ways you can prepare yourself to talk to your crush.

1. Be confident.

It is important that you are confident. You should be able to take charge. When you walk up to them you have to be bold.

Being bold is a turn on for both genders so this would add some points to your chances.

2. Choose a comfortable means

This means it is either you go talk to him face to face or talk to him via text. Choose whatever makes you more comfortable. You should be in your comfort zone while talking to he/she so that you would flow well.

3. Find a common ground

To start the conversation you have to look for something both of you like. It could be a book, movie, band or music genre. You can use whatever it is as a base for your conversation.

Make sure you find a continuous common ground so you don't run out of things to say at the beginning of the conversation.

4. Set A date

Setting a deadline for yourself to talk to your crush will keep you accountable. It stops you from postponing the inevitable.  Sometimes, your nerves can get the best of you and you might push it off for way too long.

If that's the case, don't be afraid to pick a date on your calendar and set that personal deadline. The longer you wait, the more time you give yourself to completely overthink the situation and make things even more awks!

5. Don't be afraid of rejection

He might not like as much as you like him, but it's not the end of the world. If he doesn't accept your feelings laugh it off and tell yourself “he wasn't the one for me anyway” because he isn't. There are other people about for he/she that would love you.

You may not always get the love of your life but you could get a good friend. So don't be shy and talk to your crush today.

If there are other points you might have from personal experience. Let us know in the comment section.

NASA’s Mars helicopter almost ready to launch

NASA’s Mars helicopter has successfully passed several key tests meaning it’s close to getting final approval. In 2021, the autonomous helicopter will be the first vehicle in history to power flight in the tenuous Martian environment. According to NASA, the 4lb (1.8kg) helicopter will soar above Mars in a series of demonstration tests. It will launch next summer in the belly of the Mars 2020 rover, landing on the Red Planet in February 2021. The rover will look for signs of life on the planet and return samples back to Earth while the goal of the helicopter is to hover above to give scientists insight into the Martian surface. The system needs to go through these tests because the Red Planet's air is just 1% as dense as that of Earth. Mars has a third less gravity and 99 per cent less air than Earth so the team suggest that it’s like flying it at 100,000 feet, even though initially it will only go 9 feet (3 metres) in the air. "Nobody's built a Mars helicopter...
